Shops and pop-ups are open throughout the event week. Step into the shops, take in the design and get yourself a souvenir made by local designers and handicraft workers! You will be able to recognise the shops and pop-ups involved in Lahti Design Week 2017 by the LDW17 sign. Pop in!
On Tuesday 28 February The Lahti Institute of Design will be holding a 24-hour challenge for the students of Lahti University of Applied Sciences and its partner educational institutions. The student groups will work together for 24 hours to solve future challenges of Finnish businesses or organisations.
Seminar: Suomi 100 - Muotoilu 30 000
The main event of Lahti Design Week 2017 will be the ‘Finland 100 – 30,000 Years of Design and Designers’ seminar on 1 March, aimed at alumni, students and professionals and developers in the sector. The seminar will be held in Finnish.
Design Mix & Mingle Party
The Lahti Design Week 2017 seminar day will end with a fantastic Design Mix & Mingle between design professionals, developers and supporters of the design industry: a relaxed evening party filled with happy encounters at the Malski Areena.
During the Design Clinic days at Lahti Design Week the LADEC design business developers and experts from Design Foundation Finland will be giving advice to businesses for free on all matters related to design and product development as well as design service entrepreneurship and business. Apply now!
